Course Information
357 or equivalent, or by audition. Futher refinement of basic playing skills, and development of technique appropriate for the advanced intermediate player. Students will expand upon and strengthen skills (bowing and left hand technique) learned in MUS. 357. Musical expression, sight-reading, ensemble skills, and vibrato will be developed through exercises and short pieces.
Hours/semester: 24-27 lecture/24-27 lab/48-54 hours by arrangement.
Prerequisite: MUS.
